In 2000 Aracely was cast in the part in the telenovela Maria del Carmen in the Abrazam muy Fuerte that translates into English as"Embrace Me The character was played with utmost precision in the role of Fernando Colunga and Helena Rojo. Her role as Maria del Carmen from the telenovela "Abrazam muy Fuerte" was honored through the El Heraldo de Mexico Awards in 2001. Following that she portrayed Perla in Las Vias del Amor (a Mexican Telenovela) directed by Emilio Larrosa and Televisa. Also, she sang the theme tune for the film. She resigned from her film career to host Todo Bebe, a television show that aired in theatres in the year 2008. Aracely began her career as a singer of nursery rhymes in tribute to Mexican composer of children's songs Francisco Gabilondo Soler, also known as Cri Cri. Aracely became an Billboard Latin Music Awards nominee three times during 2003 for her album Solo Tuya. The album was released in 2005. Sexy in 2005. It was recorded by A.B. Quintanilla. She produced two soundtracks including Juntos tu y yo 'and La Patrona. The singer teased the release of a new album for 2014, but she is yet to announce it.
